However, as you age, your risk factor continues to go up. Your body is a lot better at clearing itself of the bad cholesterol at a younger age.

Did you know that a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) is an expert in the nutrition field?

Many of the RDNs at Anderson’s Nutrition have a Master Degree and hold additional certifications. All of them hold the credentials of a RDN through the CDR. 

Studies show that diet and exercise can lower your cholesterol and maintain it in a healthier range. It can keep your heart healthy by lowering your risk of heart disease. Many people with high cholesterol also have high blood pressure, and by staying active and eating right, you can keep yourself healthy in both ways.

Education 

Our trained experts will work with you to create a realistic and customized goals because we want to ensure long-lasting results. We use small changes, focusing on the why and how’s, so that blood cholesterol levels are normalized naturally.

We will educate you in foods that are best for heart-healthy lifestyle. Recommendations for saturated fat, animal proteins, sodium, and fiber-containing foods will all be discussed. You’ll know what kinds of foods will work for your lifestyle to help reduce or prevent high cholesterol.

We will help you design a new lifestyle that will allow you to use food and exercise as the first line of defense against heart disease. Using the latest research, we will teach you natural ways that you can reduce your LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and overall total cholesterol. 

Coaching

Behavior change can be hard. That is why our dietitians are trained in behavior-change coaching, to help you identify barriers and create realistic strategies so that you can reach your goals and accomplish difficult tasks.

Meal Planning Tools

Getting meals on the table requires planning. But planning also requires time. That’s why we have made it easier for your meal planning. With just a click of a button, you can get a grocery list of all you need for your meals for the week. The meal planner contains specific recipes catered to help with your conditions and needs, you can be on your way to a healthy lifestyle.
